July 2011
Dear {Friend},
Summer is in full swing as we join SCA members on their conservation adventures while they blog in real time from the field. From Acadia National Park in Maine to Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska – our Follow Me team is stationed in over a dozen locations!
Drop in on the Conservation in Action Tour40 team as they lead 40 projects in 25 cities to help Southwest Airlines commemorate their 40th anniversary. Since kicking off the tour in mid-June, they've engaged hundreds of volunteers in 9 cities. They’re heading east from America’s heartland right now.
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a Park Ranger, or how Cherry Blossoms in DC can bloom faster? If so, be sure to read SCA alumna Molly McCluskey’s “Confessions of a National Park Ranger” in The Washingtonian.
This is SCA’s version of summertime reading at its best. Enjoy!
