November 2012
Dear {Friend},
As we stop to give thanks this week, we at SCA are grateful for the dynamic SCA community that helps us do our work for the planet – our members, alumni, partners, supporters, and friends. Working together, we make a powerful impact on conservation!
On the East Coast we saw this first hand after SCA’s involvement in Hurricane Sandy recovery. Ashley Alvarez reminds us of this in her recent National Parks Traveler piece. Alumni Council members reminded outdoor enthusiasts of this at Outdoor Nation. And, our Got Dirt? photo contest put it all in perspective with a little fun with the great outdoors.
So our thanks – to each and every one of you – for being part of this conservation community. We couldn’t do it without you! Happy Thanksgiving.
